Biography

Attorney Nicholas D. Williams, who prefers you call him “Nick,” received his law degree from George Mason University School of Law, where he graduated magna cum laude.  Nick also graduated cum laude from Arizona State University with his Bachelor’s Degree in Human Communication.

Prior to starting his legal career, Nick maintained a successful financial planning practice. Providing investment and insurance solutions to small business owners, working families, and retirees, Nick gained valuable experience addressing a variety of financial needs.

After law school, Nick was honored to serve as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Mary Grace O’Brien in Prince William County for the 31st Judicial Circuit Court of Virginia. Nick then returned to Arizona where he practiced as a Deputy Public Defender for Maricopa County in Phoenix, Arizona. Nick immediately gained courtroom experience and values the lessons he learned in defending his clients.

In 2013, Nick and his family returned to Northern Virginia with a desire to positively contribute to his community. Nick took his litigation experience and began serving the children of Prince William County as Guardian ad Litem, also known as a GAL. As a GAL, Nick fought for the best interests of his wards and was honored as GAL of the Year by the judges of the Prince William County Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court in 2015.

Ultimately, it has always been Nick’s goal to work with clients needing help with estate planning, probate and personal injury matters. He now proudly applies the knowledge he gained as a financial planner and the advocacy skills he developed as a trial attorney to help his clients successfully achieve their goals.

Nick lives is Fairfax County with his wife, three children, and Belle, their beloved Goldendoodle.
